Responsibilities

Build software, test infrastructure, and tooling that enable engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
Research AI-augmented agentic testing solutions and lead large-scale test automation initiatives.
Monitor test environments and provide support when errors and incidents occur.
Define end-to-end test strategies, analyze requirements, create test plans, and design regression, performance, and load test cases.
Lead quality initiatives for one or more teams and improve engineering quality standards.
Identify improvements in the technology stack and test products and systems to uncover issues.
Use quality and performance metrics to drive quality improvements.

Requirements

At least 7 years of testing experience, ideally with web applications.
At least 7 years working directly with product teams in an agile environment.
At least 6 years of UI and API automation experience.
At least 1 year developing AI-augmented agentic testing frameworks and evaluations for AI-driven applications.
At least 6 years working with CI/CD build pipelines focused on test automation, including GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Kubernetes.
Experience developing and maintaining test automation tools with Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and MCP servers.
Experience with API testing frameworks such as Postman, REST-assured, and Pact is preferred.
Programming or scripting proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python is preferred.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
Startup experience, Agile development lifecycle testing, and strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

Benefits

Targeted base salary in Canada is CAD $137,600–$172,000 annually.
The compensation package may include variable pay, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
