Responsibilities

Develop reliable C++ firmware for spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules throughout the mission lifecycle.
Own software design, development, testing, integration, verification, and validation.
Scope projects, capture requirements, and perform initial design trades for open-ended problems.
Build bare-metal, RTOS-based, or Linux-based software for embedded processors.
Develop highly reliable and available software systems and provide flight operational support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
At least 5 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
Experience developing and testing real-time embedded hardware and software systems.
Experience developing in C++ and strong understanding of C++ language concepts.
Preferred: aerospace safety-critical software experience, Python or Rust experience, and knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and computer networking.

Salary: $169k - $216k/yr
