Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new software features and maintain existing features.
  • Analyze bug reports and develop software fixes across multiple platforms.
  • Work with the Engineering Manager and geographically distributed teams to understand product requirements and features.
  • Own core product architecture and help unblock the engineering organization.
  • Contribute to and validate product documentation.
  • Assist with performance tuning for specific environments.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree/experience.
  • 14+ years of software development experience in Linux environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Rust and Bash scripting.
  • Linux experience is mandatory.
  • Experience with enterprise-class or HPC storage systems and/or distributed systems is a bonus.
  • Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Gerrit, Git, and GitHub is preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, self-starting, time management, prioritization, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
