Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale enterprise security foundations, reference architectures, security standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Design secure architectures for large-scale distributed systems, business-critical applications, infrastructure, and internal platforms.
  • Define security policies, authorization models, policy languages, and security frameworks.
  • Build security automation solutions and security platforms using modern software engineering practices.
  • Drive the architecture and evolution of IAM, authentication, authorization, credential management, and access-control ecosystems.
  • Establish best practices for applied cryptography, key management, PKI, and secure credential lifecycle management.
  • Review complex system designs and provide guidance balancing security, scalability, business, and operational needs.
  • Contribute hands-on coding, prototyping, automation, and security tooling development primarily with Python.
  • Identify security gaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead strategic security initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, platform engineering, or related technical disciplines; the posting also states an alternative of 10+ years.
  • Deep expertise in at least one of IAM; authentication and authorization including OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and Federation; applied cryptography and key management; credential management; PKI; or security policy and access-management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of secure system design in large-scale distributed environments.
  • Hands-on Python software development experience and the ability to design, develop, and automate security solutions.
  • Experience driving architecture decisions across complex infrastructure and platform environments.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges and influence engineers, architects, and technical leadership.
  • Preferred qualifications include enterprise-scale security experience, IAM or Zero Trust platforms, policy languages and authorization frameworks, intrusion or threat detection, security monitoring, distributed systems, and high-growth technology environments.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent are preferred.
