Responsibilities

Manage incidents, application monitoring, reporting, alerting, and corrective actions.
Debug complex application systems and troubleshoot business-impacting issues.
Improve operational efficiency, system stability, and availability using established standards and best practices.
Deploy, support, and evolve software using DevOps and continuous delivery practices.
Use logging, monitoring, and metrics to identify incident root causes.
Deliver high-quality, well-tested bug fixes and enhancements to existing codebases.
Apply cloud and security best practices, including resource optimization, monitoring, and alerting.
Mentor less experienced peers and junior-level consultants through technical guidance and leadership.
Participate in a need-based 24x7 support rotation.

Requirements

Experience with Node and Java programming, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Understanding of monolithic, N-tier, layered, microservices, and serverless architectures.
Strong debugging, triaging, and code troubleshooting skills.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines.
Experience with application monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Ability to produce high-quality, well-tested bug fixes and code enhancements.
Comfort with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
Strong communication, articulation, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
Willingness to contribute to the external technology community through speaking, open source, blogging, or similar activities.
