Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of full-stack applications spanning frontend interfaces, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentorship, code reviews, coding standards, and quality oversight across engineering teams.
  • Build scalable backend services and RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Python/FastAPI or Java.
  • Develop asynchronous processing pipelines, microservices, database schemas, caching strategies, and high-throughput backend systems.
  • Develop ReactJS and TypeScript applications with reusable components, state management, API integrations, accessibility, and responsive user interfaces.
  • Deploy and optimize applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes, and support CI/CD, environment provisioning, monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
  • Lead system design discussions involving scalability, distributed architecture, event-driven patterns, reliability, security, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Contribute to AI-powered features such as intelligent search, conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, and automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10–13 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in Python with FastAPI preferred or Java, ReactJS, TypeScript, REST and GraphQL API development, asynchronous processing, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architectures, distributed systems design, SQL and NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring and observability frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred experience with AI-driven applications, event-driven systems such as Kafka and SNS/SQS, Domain-Driven Design, clean architecture, Terraform or CloudFormation, performance tuning, load testing, and AWS cost optimization.
