Senior Virtualization & Orchestration Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and build virtualization infrastructure for GPU-intensive AI and HPC workloads.
  • Develop and operate Kubernetes-based orchestration systems for GPU cluster provisioning and workload scheduling.
  • Build automated systems to allocate, scale, and reclaim GPU capacity across multiple tenants.
  • Design workload placement, resource management, and cluster lifecycle solutions.
  • Partner with hardware, networking, infrastructure, and AI platform teams on cluster architectures.
  • Improve orchestration platform reliability, security, scalability, and operational maturity.
  • Build infrastructure management tooling and automation.
  • Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and platform best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale infrastructure platforms.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies for cloud, HPC, GPU, or distributed computing environments.
  • Understanding of GPU cluster provisioning, workload scheduling, and resource management.
  • Experience with Linux-based infrastructure and distributed systems concepts.
  • Ability to independently own complex systems from design through production operation.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering is preferred.
  • Experience with AI infrastructure, machine learning platforms, HPC environments, GPU cloud providers, or multi-tenant cloud infrastructure is preferred.
  • Familiarity with high-performance networking and GPU cluster architectures is preferred.
