Responsibilities

  • Develop automation machine software applications for machine control, robot control, and vision inspection systems.
  • Install and commission control systems, including qualification and validation activities.
  • Assist with circuit design for machine control in full-line automation systems.
  • Manage automation projects or project submodules.
  • Set up machines, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide overseas field support when required.
  • Communicate project progress and critical issues to management, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Resolve issues involving equipment, processes, and materials in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Experience or ability to develop automation machine software applications involving machine control, robot control, and vision inspection.
  • Ability to support control-system installation, commissioning, qualification, validation, machine setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to assist with machine-control circuit design and manage automation project work.
  • Willingness to travel overseas for field support.
  • High-performance vision-algorithm development experience is an added advantage.
