Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain large-scale cloud infrastructure and customer-facing production services.
  • Participate in SRE on-call rotations, incident response, troubleshooting, and post-incident reviews.
  • Monitor and maintain SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
  • Develop software, automation, self-service tools, and infrastructure-as-code updates using Go, Python, Terraform, and related technologies.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for safe, repeatable infrastructure and service deployments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to migrate workloads into modern platform capabilities.
  • Execute technical tasks and sub-projects through production rollout with guidance from senior SREs.
  • Document operational procedures and runbooks and share technical knowledge.
  • Follow operational best practices, security standards, and reliability principles.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience operating production services in AWS and/or GCP.
  • Practical understanding of Kubernetes, container runtimes, and application workload troubleshooting.
  • Experience using Terraform and Helm to provision and manage cloud resources.
  • Proficiency in software development using Golang and/or Python.
  • Understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, HTTPS/TLS, and traffic routing.
  • Familiarity with operating and querying PostgreSQL, Redis, and OpenSearch.
  • Experience configuring metrics, alerts, and dashboards with platforms such as Datadog or Splunk.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing production systems and troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues.
  • Understanding of SRE concepts including SLOs, SLA boundaries, and blameless post-mortems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
  • Basic understanding of cloud security, IAM, and secure secrets management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with globally distributed engineering teams.
  • Preferred: SaaS platform experience, containerized microservices deployment, GitOps and ArgoCD familiarity, and interest in AI-assisted workflows or developer productivity tools.
