Responsibilities

Contribute to agentic coding workflows, infrastructure as code practices, and technical code reviews across the platform.
Support platform architecture decisions and technology standardization under the guidance of senior engineers.
Design and build a Kubernetes-based platform for automated lifecycle management of core infrastructure.
Collaborate with engineering teams on application design patterns for platform service consumption.
Build and operate a self-service platform that provides datastore solutions with best-practice usage patterns.
Partner with application teams to diagnose and resolve datastore performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.
United States citizenship and the ability to obtain CJIS clearance for full U.S. production access.
At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; platform automation or developer experience tooling is a plus.
Experience designing and operating distributed systems, with interest in developing larger-scale architectural expertise.
Familiarity with agentic AI tooling or LLM-powered developer tools.
Solid experience with microservice architectures and patterns.
Working knowledge of cloud-hosted services and architectures across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
Familiarity with relational or NoSQL datastores such as MySQL, Cassandra, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with message queue systems such as Kafka.
Working knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

Salary: $116k - $185k/yr
