Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain reliable mobile growth features and supporting systems.
  • Contribute across the engineering lifecycle from identifying user and business problems through implementation, launch, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Develop onboarding funnels, referral programs, acquisition journeys, engagement mechanics, notifications, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Development, data teams, and regional stakeholders to translate growth objectives into engineering solutions.
  • Instrument user journeys and analyze metrics to identify friction points and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in technical discussions, evaluate trade-offs, and contribute engineering proposals.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and problem-solving.
  • Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.
  • For senior-level hires, lead projects, guide technical decisions, and support the development of other engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on production mobile application development experience with iOS technologies such as Swift or Objective-C, or Android technologies such as Kotlin or Java.
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, system design, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building consumer-facing products and understanding how engineering decisions affect user experience and business outcomes.
  • Comfort with user journeys, funnels, conversion, retention, and measurable impact.
  • Ability to own engineering tasks and work effectively with product and business stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI coding tools with the judgment to review, test, and validate generated outputs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience includes backend growth systems, mobile attribution and MMPs, AppsFlyer, Adjust, SKAdNetwork, ASO operations, referral systems, anti-fraud layers, fintech or crypto products, US/EEA/APAC markets, and large-scale A/B experimentation frameworks.
