Software Developer, New Grad in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and refine standardized and custom integrations and internal tools.
  • Use appropriate technologies to add features to IXL products and improve development efficiency.
  • Implement data exchange methods and standards and develop prototypes with product management and third-party partners.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mature existing technical implementation processes and contribute to the vision and design of a next-generation integration platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of general programming principles.
  • Excellent programming skills in Java or another object-oriented language.
  • Ability to work independently and with a wide variety of teams.
  • Knowledge of Java, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, React, Linux, and Git is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $90,000 to $92,000 CAD plus benefits.
  • Full-time position based in IXL Learning’s Toronto, Ontario, Canada office.
