Responsibilities

Design system architecture and develop new features for embedded systems.
Investigate, prototype, and deliver new system solutions.
Design, develop, verify, debug, bring up, and support beta and production firmware and software.
Participate in design reviews, API development, documentation, and architectural planning.
Build expertise in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity technologies.
Deliver investigation plans, reports, architectural documents, design specifications, source code, and build scripts.
Collaborate with software and hardware product teams.
Mentor other software developers and help maintain architectural vision and software quality.

Requirements

At least 3 years of embedded firmware development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Experience designing, developing, and debugging embedded software, preferably on ARM-based platforms.
Experience coding in C and C++.
Experience with embedded Linux development and Android systems.
Board-level experience.
Preferred: deep experience with Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy, including HCI, L2CAP, GATT/GAP, profiles, protocol stacks, and wireless sniffers such as Ellisys.
Preferred: experience building factory test, interoperability, and certification test plans.
Preferred: experience with ARM-based SoC architecture.
Strong embedded-systems debugging and troubleshooting skills.
