Responsibilities

Develop ROM code, low-level bare-metal and RTOS-based device drivers, tool-chain support, SDKs, gauging applications, and custom firmware.
Own software components for battery-gauging ICs from requirements gathering and planning through development, testing, and release.
Use test-driven development to validate functionality, ensure code coverage, and improve software quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to align software solutions with requirements and needs.
Debug and resolve software issues during development and in production systems.
Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards and best practices.
Develop expertise in battery-gauging technology to work effectively with customers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of relevant experience with hands-on low-level driver, ROM, or firmware development.
Experience with ROM and/or low-level device drivers, including bare-metal or RTOS-based drivers, is preferred.
Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, embedded microcontroller firmware development and debugging, and embedded software testing is preferred.
Experience with security and authentication in microcontrollers, version control systems such as Git, and Agile firmware development is preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, initiative, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills are preferred.
