Responsibilities

Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and designs.
Code and test complex system components.
Participate in code and design reviews.
Work with other teams to deliver and operate large-scale distributed cloud services.
Own system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.
Mentor other engineers and help define the technical culture and build a growing team.

Requirements

At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred qualifications include 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, a master's degree in computer science or equivalent, and experience debugging, profiling, and applying software engineering best practices in large-scale systems.
