Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, performant, and secure software features across major portions of the team’s systems.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements clarification, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.
Evaluate and integrate generative AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.
Review code, mentor and coach engineers, and improve software and documentation quality.
Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and drive permanent fixes and technical improvements.

Requirements

At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
At least 1 year of Object-Oriented Design experience.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
