Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy software enhancements and new features.
Maintain and improve existing business-critical applications and services.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
Own assigned features and components from development through deployment and production support.
Monitor application performance and reliability and support operational activities.
Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical debt reduction and system improvements.
Maintain technical and operational documentation.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, Operations, DevOps, and platform teams.
Use AI-assisted development tools for code comprehension, debugging, testing, documentation, and prototyping, while reviewing generated output for quality, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience building and maintaining production applications.
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS for modern frontend and/or backend web development.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or equivalent.
Experience with Docker and a working understanding of networking concepts.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed environment.
Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms, containerized and distributed systems, Azure Functions or equivalent serverless technologies, event-driven architectures, messaging, asynchronous processing, Service Bus or equivalent, MongoDB, Redis, CI/CD, application security, Kubernetes, Material UI/MUI, PHP, AngularJS, Java, or C#.
