Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy software enhancements and new features.
Maintain and improve existing applications and services.
Troubleshoot software defects and production issues.
Own assigned features and components from development through deployment and production support.
Monitor application performance and reliability and support operational activities.
Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and follow coding standards.
Contribute to technical debt reduction, system improvements, documentation, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, Operations, DevOps, and platform teams.
Use AI-assisted development tools for code understanding, debugging, testing, documentation, and prototyping while reviewing generated output for quality and security.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4-5 years of professional software development experience building and maintaining production applications.
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with Docker and a working understanding of networking concepts.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed environment.
Preferred experience with cloud platforms, containerized and distributed systems, and serverless technologies such as Azure Functions.
Preferred familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging, asynchronous processing, Service Bus, MongoDB, Redis, Kubernetes, Material UI/MUI, PHP, and AngularJS.
Experience with application security, modern software delivery practices, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns is preferred; Java or C# is a plus.
