Responsibilities

  • Participate in feature releases, platform upgrades, functional enhancements, performance testing, and defect resolution across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Design, build, maintain, and execute automated UI and API test frameworks for web, iOS, and Android applications.
  • Perform exploratory and manual testing of new features and bug fixes.
  • Identify, document, isolate, and track defects in Jira, including root-cause investigations, logs, and reproduction steps.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and technical blockers across Indian and US time zones and help address critical production issues.
  • Research and adopt quality engineering, test automation, and continuous integration best practices.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Software QA Engineer or SDET.
  • Strong programming proficiency in Java; Kotlin or JavaScript experience is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience creating automated tests for native and hybrid iOS and Android applications using Appium, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
  • Deep understanding of backward compatibility testing across operating system versions and device configurations.
  • Applied knowledge of Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Tables, and Use Case testing.
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development, CI/CD pipelines, and exploratory testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical QA engineering experience.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, analytical ability, ownership, self-motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
