Software Development Engineer in Test in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Review product requirements and design documents to create testing strategies.
  • Build test plans, write test cases, and execute tests for product features.
  • Implement and maintain test automation scripts and improve test coverage and stability.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the test automation framework.
  • Report, track, and verify defects and monitor automation jobs.
  • Provide status reports to leadership and partners.
  • Work with the infrastructure team to maintain common services such as CI test pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.
  • At least 2 years of experience in UI automation for web or native applications.
  • Validated experience with the software testing lifecycle.
  • Experience with centralized and distributed version control solutions.
  • Experience maintaining CI systems, with Jenkins preferred.
  • Experience with Selenium or Appium.
  • Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages, preferably Python.
  • Preferred: experience with Angular, Ember.js, or React.
  • Preferred: experience developing or testing non-PC devices such as phones, game consoles, or set-top boxes.
  • Preferred: experience with Python, Node.js, React Native, or game console test code.
