Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, test suites, and test runs.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, API, UI, database, and performance testing.
  • Develop API automation using RestAssured, TestNG, and Maven and UI automation using Selenium.
  • Validate cloud-native application workflows using AWS services including S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and AWS Glue.
  • Use Postman for API testing, debugging, and validation.
  • Perform database testing and data validation using SQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Validate search results using Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
  • Manage automation code with Git and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test failures, perform root cause analysis, track defects, and collaborate with developers on resolution.
  • Define testing standards, quality guidelines, automation opportunities, and quality benchmarks.
  • Support release planning, product reviews, sprint planning, code reviews, and testing lifecycle management.
  • Maintain quality management records and ensure testing artifacts and issues are reviewed and closed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant QA experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Core Java and experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency with RestAssured, TestNG, Maven, Selenium, and Postman.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, AWS Glue, SQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and test management tools.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, defect lifecycle, and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
