Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for software products and applications.
  • Perform automated unit, integration, functional, API, database, regression, smoke, black-box, and system testing.
  • Review requirements and design artifacts and create test cases with extensive application coverage.
  • Identify, diagnose, and remediate software defects and improve the overall testing process.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into concrete testing results and articulate business value.
  • Provide project coordination and technical management support within a business-aligned development squad.
  • Establish expertise in the business areas, systems, and platforms being supported.

Requirements

  • At least six years of experience with automated unit and integration testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools including Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies and tools including CloudBees, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, and Jira.
  • Expertise in backend test automation using Rest Assured or Karate for API testing.
  • Experience with JDBC or JPA for database testing with Oracle, DB2, or Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL, including writing sophisticated SQL queries.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies including unit, integration, functional, smoke, black-box, non-black-box, and regression testing.
  • Experience in software development, Agile or Waterfall environments, and onsite/offshore coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
