Responsibilities

Build and ship customer-facing products across backend, data, infrastructure, and frontend surfaces.
Design and operate high-volume data pipelines and services with strong reliability, security, and observability.
Build and operate AI agents, agent harnesses, and developer tools at very large scale.
Make architecture decisions, explain tradeoffs, and iterate designs as assumptions evolve.
Collaborate with founders and customers to translate ambiguous requirements into product decisions and working software.
Use AI development tools while maintaining engineering judgment and accountability.

Requirements

1 to 6 years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
Strong backend engineering skills involving APIs, data models, and distributed systems.
Proven ownership of a production system from concept through deployment and ongoing operations.
Experience shipping across product and infrastructure at an early-stage startup.
Experience building and operating high-volume data pipelines.
Strong computer science fundamentals, ideally from a rigorous academic background.
Familiarity with LLMs, agent frameworks, or similar AI-native development tooling is a plus.
Experience with identity resolution, data enrichment, or matching systems at scale is a plus.

Benefits

Base salary range of $200,000 to $220,000 USD annually, with equity participation available as part of the total package.
Full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, California.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
