Responsibilities

Design and develop an Android remote-control application that communicates with external devices over Bluetooth.
Implement Bluetooth Classic and BLE pairing and data exchange.
Create intuitive mobile UI for controlling external hardware.
Ensure secure and reliable Bluetooth connectivity while optimizing latency and battery consumption.
Collaborate with hardware engineers on integration and testing.
Debug and optimize Bluetooth connectivity issues.

Requirements

6–9 years of Android app development experience using Kotlin.
Strong knowledge of Android Bluetooth Classic and BLE APIs.
Familiarity with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
Experience with mobile UI/UX design principles, network protocols, JSON serialization, and asynchronous programming.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Expert mastery of Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flow, and Java.
Deep understanding of the JVM memory model and concurrency.
Preferred experience with IoT device integration, MVVM, Jetpack, Material Design, unit testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, AIDL/HIDL, Binder IPC, AAOS, AOSP builds, Android Automotive OS, Car App Library, or VHAL properties.
