Software Engineer, Applied Emerging Talent in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end development of customer-facing ChatGPT and OpenAI API features and product experiences.
  • Talk with users to understand their problems and design solutions that address their needs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, researchers, product managers, designers, and operations partners to create products.
  • Optimize applications for speed and scale.
  • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–1 years of experience in software engineering or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and React, plus familiarity with backend languages, particularly Python.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
  • Interest in AI/ML; direct experience is not required.
  • Ability to work quickly in loosely defined environments with competing priorities or deadlines.

Salary: $180k - $180k/yr
