Software Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Build large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems and apply performance benchmarking and tuning on Linux-based systems.
  • Conduct thorough peer code reviews covering interface design, code quality, and testing strategies.
  • Understand customer requirements and implement them in Glean’s solutions.
  • Partner with product teams to deliver high-quality features that satisfy customer requirements.
  • Build data ingestion pipelines from enterprise data sources and create secure search indexes using C++, Java, Python, or Go.
  • Design enterprise search user interfaces and APIs for search-based applications.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience with distributed-systems or cloud-native infrastructure, full-stack applications, machine learning productionization, or information-retrieval systems.
  • Experience with C++, Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, distributed systems, machine learning, PyTorch, CI/CD pipelines, and GCP.
