Responsibilities

Plan, build, and maintain full-stack application features for Harvey’s SaaS platform.
Develop web applications using React and TypeScript, user interfaces using CSS and TailwindCSS, and application functionality using Python.
Leverage Progressive Web Application technologies to support product performance and scalability.
Design and maintain cloud-based software infrastructure, including monitoring and alerting systems.
Scale large software systems for low-latency and high-volume usage.
Collaborate with teammates and customers to diagnose and resolve engineering and product issues.
Participate in an on-call rotation to manage production escalations.
Explore and implement AI-first processes and tools to improve engineering quality and velocity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a product-focused, full-stack software engineering role or related role.
Experience developing full-stack web applications with React and TypeScript.
Experience implementing user interfaces with CSS, including TailwindCSS.
Experience developing application functionality with Python.
Experience building and maintaining fast-growing SaaS applications and using Progressive Web Application technologies.
Experience designing and maintaining cloud-based software infrastructure with monitoring and alerting systems.
Experience scaling large software systems for low-latency, high-volume usage and diagnosing infrastructure and software issues.
