Responsibilities

Work with product owners to understand requirements and drive the full software development lifecycle.
Build simple, extensible software that customers can customize to meet their needs.
Design and implement new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
Apply data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scale considerations.
Make full-stack architectural decisions across AI integration, server-side rendering, Node.js execution infrastructure, and the ServiceNow Glide platform.
Raise engineering quality through architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and technical direction.

Requirements

Completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience with deep JavaScript expertise and substantial experience in Java or a similar object-oriented language such as C++, C#, or Go.
Strong experience with modern UI frameworks including Angular, React, Vue, or Lit.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scale considerations.
Strong experience developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing relational databases.
Strong experience with server-side rendering and hydration, including isomorphic-rendering failure modes.
Strong systems-level Node.js experience involving process or worker isolation, HTTP semantics, reverse proxying, and concurrent versioned rollouts.
Experience working across a JVM/Maven backend and Node.js/TypeScript server-side rendering stack, including ServiceNow Glide platform conventions.
Experience as a senior individual contributor responsible for code quality and mentoring.
Preferred experience with multi-target component build systems, Kubernetes service operations, and production observability using Grafana and Prometheus.

Base pay of $145,270-$160,300, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
