Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and ship new products and services for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain highly available API-based services for Thunes’ global payments platform.
  • Improve platform scalability, performance, security, reliability, and development processes.
  • Write high-quality, testable, readable, scalable, and documented software.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, daily stand-ups, and technology evaluations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Golang.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers such as AWS SNS/SQS, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience designing and developing web and API solutions.
  • Interest in the fintech industry and market innovations.
  • A degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn are expected.
