Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end features across Go backend services and React/Next.js merchant-facing checkout components.
Build buyer checkout capabilities including payment links, embeddable web components, and WalletConnect-based wallet connection flows.
Implement payment workflows for onchain settlement, refunds, and reconciliation using Temporal and PostgreSQL.
Design and maintain gRPC/HTTP APIs, protobuf definitions, database migrations, and TypeScript client integrations.
Instrument services with structured logs, metrics, and Datadog traces, and participate in on-call rotations.
Collaborate with Product, Design, CDP, Base, and Coinbase Business teams to integrate Payment Acceptance into the developer platform.
Write design documents, pull request descriptions, and runbooks that support cross-team collaboration and operational maturity.
Use generative AI tools and copilots responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience shipping production systems.
Professional experience with Go, including concurrency, gRPC, and testing.
Professional experience with TypeScript and React, including hooks, suspense, server components, and Next.js.
Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, query performance, and transactional correctness.
Experience designing APIs with protobuf/gRPC, REST, or OpenAPI.
Experience instrumenting production systems with structured observability tools such as Datadog or OpenTelemetry.
Experience with durable workflow systems such as Temporal, Cadence, or Step Functions, or with EVM blockchains, stablecoins, and onchain payment patterns.
Ability to use generative AI tools and copilots such as LibreChat, Gemini, or Glean responsibly with human-in-the-loop practices.
