Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy software to improve backend reliability.
Build and maintain cloud infrastructure tooling for global-scale availability and operational stability.
Develop projects such as automated stability risk detection, AI outage investigation, deployment tooling, load testing, and incident management.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand infrastructure needs and provide robust solutions.
Contribute to the architecture and design of new and existing cloud services.
Use historical outages and operational pain points to make data-driven project decisions.
Own a subdomain and lead cross-team infrastructure efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
At least four years of experience with cloud infrastructure or backend systems.
Experience with Python and/or Go.
Experience with a major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio or another service mesh, Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and open-source contributions.
