Responsibilities

Support development of new full-stack features from initial design through implementation under senior developer guidance.
Write, test, and debug code while participating in code reviews and maintaining coding standards.
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Document new features and enhancements for maintainability and ease of understanding.
Stay current with emerging technologies and seek feedback and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and seeking a co-op or internship opportunity.
Proficiency in TypeScript or similar languages, with TypeScript preferred.
Familiarity with at least one front-end framework such as React.
Basic understanding of back-end languages and frameworks such as Node.js.
Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, teamwork, ownership, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include exposure to AWS or Google Cloud, REST APIs, and high-velocity startup or AI-first environments.
Must undergo a criminal records check and be a Canadian citizen or eligible to work in Canada.
