Software Engineer, Connectivity Cloud in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build, optimize, and maintain reliable, scalable, distributed microservices from prototype through production.
  • Automate workflows, streamline deployment pipelines, and improve delivery consistency.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, performant REST and gRPC APIs for internal and external use.
  • Work with Protocol Buffers and high-throughput asynchronous processing.
  • Evaluate backend technical feasibility and optimize applications for performance.
  • Apply engineering best practices through code reviews, testing, and systematic root-cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional backend development experience involving complex, scalable cloud services.
  • Experience deploying backend services in AWS Lambda and Kubernetes environments and containerizing applications with Docker.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin; TypeScript backend or serverless experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with services including EC2, Lambda, MSK, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, and Parameter Store.
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming, message queues such as Kafka, SQS, and NATS, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with DynamoDB, ElastiCache, and evaluating SQL versus non-relational data solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with systematic troubleshooting and production monitoring using tools such as Datadog and Amazon CloudWatch.
  • Familiarity with ArgoCD and Helm is a strong plus.
