Responsibilities

Build and operate distributed systems for real-time blockchain data ingestion, indexing, and querying.
Own services end-to-end from design and data modeling through implementation, rollout, and observability.
Deliver chain integrations, migrations, and backfills while improving latency, reliability, and cost.
Partner with product and platform teams to define data contracts and develop SDKs and platform primitives.
Apply systems design principles involving partitioning, consistency, stream processing, and storage boundaries.
Support code reviews, testing rigor, and responsible use of generative AI to improve engineering efficiency and quality.

Requirements

At least 2 years of software engineering experience building and operating distributed or data systems in production.
Strong systems design fundamentals, including partitioning, consistency and availability tradeoffs, stream processing, and storage/compute boundaries.
Proficiency in a backend language such as Go and/or Python.
Familiarity with Kafka, gRPC, Redis, S3, ClickHouse, or MongoDB.
Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear designs and shipped solutions with measurable impact.
Blockchain or crypto data experience, including familiarity with chain data structures, finality, reorgs, RPC nodes, or wallets, is preferred.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready results and improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
