Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure in UK new

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-impact software solutions for autonomous driving and AD/ADAS use cases.
  • Collaborate with Computer Vision and Machine Learning engineers on self-driving projects.
  • Understand ML data requirements and adapt the data ecosystem to support them.
  • Build efficient data-ingestion pipelines for data collected from the vehicle fleet.
  • Develop distributed cloud systems that serve, process, and transform large quantities of data.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Python or another object-oriented language.
  • Experience building reliable distributed applications for data processing or similar domains.
  • Experience working with RPC protocols such as gRPC and protobuf.
  • Hands-on experience developing cloud applications using platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Preferred: experience writing testable and modular code.
  • Preferred: experience designing, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems.
  • Preferred: experience with data pipelines, data platforms, workflow orchestration, and batch processing.
  • Preferred: experience collaborating across teams and disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
