Software Engineer - Devops Automation, Perforce in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable automation with Ansible.
  • Develop Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Operate and troubleshoot large Linux environments across cloud, virtual machine, and bare-metal infrastructure.
  • Participate in support rotations, incident response, and service recovery.
  • Work directly with game teams on source control, performance, and infrastructure issues.
  • Improve CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and platform reliability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of DevOps, infrastructure, systems, or platform engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Ansible experience building and maintaining automation.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong scripting skills with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with source control such as Git, SVN, Perforce, or ClearCase.
  • Experience with production support, CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Perforce Helix Core experience, Azure experience, large-scale developer platform support, and game industry experience are preferred.
