Responsibilities

  • Design and build Dynamic Tables capabilities with engineers and Product Managers.
  • Implement, support, and evolve new features and performance improvements.
  • Analyze and solve performance, correctness, and fault-tolerance challenges at scale.
  • Investigate unfamiliar parts of large systems to identify root causes and solve problems.
  • Ensure operational readiness and reliability, availability, and performance of delivered software.
  • Help shape technical and product direction and understand customer usage to guide development.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of industry experience designing and building database internals or data-intensive systems, or equivalent research experience.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Track record of taking open-ended problems through to software running in production.
  • Proficiency with AI-native software engineering and agentic development workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with query compilers, query optimizers, database internals, enterprise-grade reliable software, large-scale distributed systems, transactions, consistency models, or open-source data infrastructure and database systems.
