Software Engineer, Foundation in Others

Responsibilities

  • Own core areas of the Flutter app, including shared components, design systems, state management, performance, and tooling.
  • Build and improve AI infrastructure including MCP servers, background agent platforms, evaluation systems, and feedback loops.
  • Improve developer experience through CI/CD, release tooling, and faster feedback from code changes to production.
  • Ship user-facing features alongside platform work.
  • Maintain reliable shared systems that engineering teams can build on confidently.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of production experience building mobile or web applications.
  • Professional backend engineering experience and familiarity with building and operating production software.
  • Daily, fluent use of agentic coding tools and a thoughtful perspective on their strengths and limitations.
  • A strong academic background and solid engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience in a startup, early-stage company, or founding-engineer environment with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Good design judgment, clear English communication, and interest in improving systems that help other engineers work effectively.
  • Flutter and Dart experience is welcome but not required.

Benefits

  • Base salary of €80,000 to €110,000 annually.
  • On-site work in Berlin, Germany.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
