Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, test, and ship production-ready software with mentorship and team support.
  • Contribute to code reviews, version control, unit testing, and engineering best practices.
  • Learn how systems operate at scale and take on increasing technical ownership.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to solve problems for consumers, merchants, and delivery partners.
  • Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, or stability of software systems as applicable.
  • Participate in developing, releasing, monitoring, and operating large-scale web applications and real-time systems as applicable.

Requirements

  • Be pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, graduating between Fall 2026 and Summer 2027.
  • Have at least two previous software engineering internships or equivalent practical experience and no more than two years of full-time professional experience.
  • Have experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or Kotlin.
  • Have a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Have experience with databases and technologies such as SQL.
  • Have experience writing clean code, using version control, and creating unit tests.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-powered development tools, scalable or stable software systems, large-scale web applications, monitoring, live deployments, continuous integration, real-time technology, service-oriented architecture, API development, or systems design.
