Responsibilities

Write, debug, and maintain embedded software in C/C++ and Python for robotic systems.
Integrate software with hardware, ARM Cortex MCUs, and peripherals using CAN, I2C, and SPI.
Participate in code reviews and use GitHub for source control, tracking, and testing.
Contribute to CMake/Make build systems and CI/CD pipelines for firmware releases.
Maintain technical documentation for integrated systems and software features.
Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
Strong C/C++ software engineering and coding skills.
Experience with ARM Cortex MCUs, embedded RTOS, multithreaded environments, and embedded system interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, GPIO, interrupts, timers, and PWM.
Familiarity with Linux, Makefile and/or CMake build systems, pytest, GitHub, continuous integration, and lab equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub, and JIRA.
