Responsibilities

Build and maintain software across backend infrastructure, full-stack web applications, mobile infrastructure, or embedded systems.
Scale data ingestion and storage systems supporting Samsara’s IoT platform, hardware assets, and customers.
Develop user experiences that transform device data into actionable insights.
Build software for Samsara hardware, including edge AI, multimedia, power management, and real-time data processing systems.
Collaborate with product, design, customer success, and customers through interviews, feature development, and outcome measurement.
Own projects end to end while learning new technologies and using AI tools to accelerate development.

Requirements

Be a current senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Have an expected graduation date in 2027.
Demonstrate curiosity and self-direction through experiences such as hackathons, side projects, or independent technical exploration.
Be able to work collaboratively, take ownership of complex problems, and learn quickly.
Direct experience with Samsara’s exact technology stack is not required, but similar technology experience is strongly encouraged.
