Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable full-stack applications using React.js, Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, Kafka, and relational databases.
Design and implement APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions for business and data-processing requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, estimates, and technical recommendations.
Build reusable components, application frameworks, and shared services.
Analyze system impacts, dependencies, and risks while collaborating with architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
Troubleshoot production issues across user interfaces, middleware, messaging platforms, and databases; monitor performance and participate in on-call and incident-management activities.
Develop unit, integration, and regression tests and contribute to application deployment, disaster recovery, high availability, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Lead a team of Data Engineering associates and collaborate with global technology teams across time zones.

Requirements

Strong experience building web applications with React.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong experience developing backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Experience implementing event-driven architecture with Kafka and using Python for automation, data processing, or backend services.
Advanced SQL development and database design experience with Oracle and Netezza.
Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Confluence.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, incident-management, and root-cause-analysis skills.
Preferred experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Financial-services, banking, risk, treasury, forecasting, or regulatory-reporting experience is highly desirable.
