Responsibilities

  • Own customer-facing features end to end, from design decisions through daily production use.
  • Translate ambiguous problems into clear, shipped software solutions.
  • Debug live production systems and solve problems at petabyte scale.
  • Design and implement solutions for challenging data security problems.
  • Contribute through code reviews, design feedback, and mentoring engineers earlier in their careers.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Have strong backend skills in Go, Python, or a comparable programming language.
  • Have a solid background in databases, data modeling, and schema design.
  • Be able to drive open-ended problems to clarity and ship solutions to production.
  • Be based in NYC and able to work from the Financial District office three days per week.
  • Frontend experience is a plus.

Salary: $150k - $180k/yr
