Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable self-service tools and automated workflows for ingesting, creating, sharing, and using data.
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to develop scalable and user-friendly data platform solutions.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems to maintain platform reliability and resolve issues proactively.
Improve platform infrastructure for robustness, scalability, adaptability, and ease of adoption.
Research and integrate tools and technologies to improve platform performance and support innovation.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides for platform tools and workflows.

Requirements

Require 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, software development, or a related field.
Demonstrate platform thinking and the ability to design scalable, reusable, self-service tools that reduce complexity.
Have strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, and write clean, documented code.
Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with GCP preferred.
Understand software engineering principles including version control, modularization, API development, and front-end/back-end integrations.
Have experience using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
Have exposure to automated build tools such as Jenkins and CI/CD principles.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Airflow, Argo, Flyte, Kubeflow, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Pub/Sub, and machine learning workflows.

Salary: $79k - $132k/yr
