Software Engineer II, Fintech in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and operate integrations between SAP S/4HANA/BTP and downstream systems across their full lifecycle.
  • Develop SAP business logic, reports, data transformations, APIs, CDS views, RAP services, and interfaces using ABAP and HANA technologies.
  • Build and operate AWS-native services and financial-data pipelines connecting SAP, Redshift, and enterprise applications.
  • Deploy integration infrastructure with CDK, including CI/CD pipelines, IAM roles, VPC/VPCE connectivity, and multi-environment topologies.
  • Create MCP servers, Bedrock agents, and Claude-powered workflows that automate Finance operations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Tax stakeholders; own production systems, incident response, documentation, code reviews, and mentoring.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on SAP development experience involving ABAP, HANA SQL, CDS views, BTP, or SAP integration technologies.
  • Experience building file-based and API-based integrations using REST, OData, and SOAP patterns, including S/4HANA CDS and AMDP development.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating production workloads with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, IAM, and API Gateway.
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java beyond ABAP, with a record of shipping production code.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code using CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Bedrock for engineering workflows, automation, data analysis, or problem-solving.
  • Experience testing and debugging APIs with Bruno or Postman and understanding OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect authorization flows.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns, SOLID principles, and Finance domains such as FI/CO, FI/CA, AP, AR, or GL.
  • Preferred experience includes production AI-powered automations or agentic workflows with MCP servers, Bedrock agents, or LangGraph, and Fiori applications using RAP.

Salary: $165k - $224k/yr
