Responsibilities

Execute standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
Write secure, high-quality code with limited guidance using one or more programming languages.
Design, develop, code, debug, and troubleshoot while considering upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
Use Software Development Life Cycle tools, automation, and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development capabilities to improve delivery value.
Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
Apply software engineering processes, methodologies, and technical skills to develop secure and stable systems.
Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, refactoring, unit test creation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.

Requirements

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Demonstrable ability to code in one or more programming languages.
Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
Exposure to CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and agile methodologies.
Emerging knowledge of a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile development.
Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
