Responsibilities

Build intuitive and performant self-service tools that enable marketers and other teams to work independently.
Build and maintain integrations that share customer and event data with third-party and lifecycle marketing platforms.
Design and develop backend systems and frontend features for Growth Platform products.
Ensure scalability, testability, and maintainability throughout development.
Participate in technical design, code reviews, and implementation of engineering best practices.
Collaborate with marketers, data analysts, lifecycle teams, product managers, and Growth engineering teams.
Identify technical improvements and propose pragmatic solutions to improve systems and processes.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React.
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem.
Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database systems and architectural tradeoffs.
Experience designing and consuming APIs; GraphQL is a plus.
Understanding of experimentation, A/B testing, personalization systems, and the MarTech landscape.
Clear communication, cross-functional collaboration, strong problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Preferred: experience with event tracking, data pipelines, user-data synchronization, Growth Engineering or Growth Platform teams, Redis, Kafka, MySQL, Terraform, GraphQL, Next.js, and migrations from monoliths to microservices or microfrontends.
