Responsibilities

Break larger projects into tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate with teammates for timely delivery.
Participate in product ideation with product management, design, and analytics while communicating technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues, and support on-call and operational efforts for team artifacts.
Design, develop, and launch scalable APIs and ship web and mobile applications.
Navigate and debug a large codebase, write tested and extensible code, conduct code reviews, and participate in interviewing.

Requirements

At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
Experience shipping mobile applications with native or cross-platform technologies such as React Native.
Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Kotlin or Python.
Ability to translate business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
Strong debugging, code review, ownership, feedback-seeking, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
A related bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
