Responsibilities

Contribute to platform features across compute, authentication, service discovery, observability, and redundancy.
Implement scalable architectural solutions while considering cost, maintenance, and operational tradeoffs.
Support and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Deploy and maintain Ripple’s multi-region, multi-provider service platforms with a focus on security and reliability.
Build automation, monitoring, and instrumentation tooling to reduce operational friction.
Contribute to platform and application lifecycle services and automated, data-driven workflows.
Participate in technical discussions and apply DevOps and GitOps principles.

Requirements

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
3–6 years of relevant experience with a software development background in Go, Python, or Java.
Understanding of software engineering best practices and system design.
Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Rancher, and containerization for distributed services.
Experience contributing to deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Exposure to Prometheus and OpenTelemetry observability platforms and monitoring SLOs/SLIs.
Strong collaboration, customer service orientation, relationship-building, and written and verbal communication skills.
