Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, maintainable full-stack software solutions and reusable components.
Build and modernize user-facing applications with Angular, TypeScript, and component-based front-end architecture.
Lead technical design for complex features, document solutions, and follow IT control policies.
Develop and support Java and J2EE backend services and integrations using AWS technologies and databases.
Diagnose system issues, analyze upstream and downstream impacts, and recommend broad-reaching solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage technical dependencies and deliver high-quality products.
Apply development, testing, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum best practices while contributing to technical direction and engineering improvements.
Use AI-powered development tools to improve software development productivity and code quality.

Requirements

At least 5 years of software development experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
At least 4 years of experience developing modern Angular web applications, including hands-on Angular 17+ experience.
Strong proficiency with TypeScript, component-based UI development, reactive programming patterns, and front-end architecture.
At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing backend services with Java and J2EE.
Experience with AWS services including EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, SES, ECS, and Lambda.
Proficiency with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and MySQL.
Current use of AI tools to enhance development productivity and willingness to expand that practice.
Knowledge of design practices related to performance, scalability, robustness, and resiliency.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and delivering large, complex, cross-functional projects.
Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and independent-work skills.

Salary: $102k - $136k/yr
